Yorkshire Vernacular Buildings Study Group 50th anniversary on 21 November

The YVBSG celebrated its 50th anniversary at Wakefield Town Hall on 21st November. A talk summing up their achievements was followed by lunch. After lunch there were talks by Peter Brears on The Tudor and Stuart Buildings of Wakefield and Peter Thornborrow on Medieval to eighteenth century houses of Wakefield town and its hinterland. The day ended with celebratory cake.
