After being officially opened by The Mayor of Barnsley, up to 40 organisations covering all aspects of Yorkshire’s history and heritage will be on display and ready to engage with the public and answer any questions. Meet the people who volunteer, why they do it and what they are achieving. Wakefield Historical Society will have a stall, so do come and meet us, browse our publications and tell us your interests in Yorkshire’s history.
