Working with Wakefield Museum
Wakefield Museum chose 100 objects from the collections to represent the 100th anniversary of the Museum in 2023, and they asked us and the Civic Society to ask members to choose objects from the list to display in a case at Wakefield One.
People had many different reasons for attaching value to the objects they chose. You can now go and see their choices, which range from a dress for the 1933 pageant to weighing scales from the Hornsea Seaside activity centre, in the atrium at Wakefield One.
