Following a successful international tour in 2018 including a debut performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Richard is bringing his talk on the Wars of the Roses back for 2019 with a special performance at Wakefield’s Chantry Chapel.
Expect an astonishing array of historical facts mixed in with absolute nonsense as the script is updated to build in more of the crazy capers from between 1455 and 1485, (or 1487 depending on how long we go on for!).
Enjoy a lazy afternoon in The Chantry learning about The Wars of the Roses and enjoying some tea and cake whilst finding out where Wakefield superstar Jane McDonald fits into the conflict. Will suit ages 8 to 108, and now the Wars of the Roses features heavily in the national curriculum. It will be fun way of cementing knowledge gained at school.
