More information from the Wakefield Socialist History Group::

We hope you’re well in these very difficult times. We wanted to contact you about the Palestine event which we had organised for Saturday 11thNovember.

Our speaker, Musheir El-Farra has been trapped in Khan Younis, Gaza since October 7th. It is unlikely that he will be with us to speak.

We’re considering different options and will make a final decision on the meeting in time to let you know by Saturday 4th November.

If you have shared information about this meeting with others, we’d be grateful if you could also share this message.

In the meantime, we encourage you to look at some of Musheir’s updates from Gaza. It looks from the update that the internet is working again after being cut three days ago. We are sure that you will agree that it provides an incredibly vivid and powerful testimony of the experiences of people in Gaza at this time.
