Magna 2024, talk by Doug Whiteley
This is a 5 year project close to Hadrian’s Wall, by the Vindolanda Trust. Investigating Milecastle 46, the military zone, the vallum and part of the Magna fort itself, along with some adjacent anomalies. A talk about the project, with a personal view of the activities during two weeks of period 2, year 2, what they found and my part in it.
And after the tea/coffee break we will attempt to show the results so far from Temple Newsam.
