‘Private Peaceful’ at the Theatre Royal

On Tuesday 27– Wednesday 28 October, Theatre Royal on Westgate are presenting Michael Morpurgo’s acclaimed Private Peaceful, a moving First World War story from the author of War Horse.
The story follows young soldier Tommo Peaceful as he looks back over his life, from his childhood and family relationships to the devastating realities of war.
With the production taking place as we approach the Remembrance period, its historical setting and deeply human perspective on the First World War might particularly resonate.
