November meeting of South Leeds Archaeology

Information from South Leeds Archaeology

The next meeting of South Leeds Archaeology is Thursday 7pm 21st November
at the Rothwell Hub, Marsh Street, Rothwell, LS260AE.

Phil Jones will talk about the South Leeds Boat Club Basin at Heck, its
history and the fieldwork that PontArch have done.

Doug Whiteley will give a talk on some of the archive work that he and
Mike Turpin have done re. Temple Newsam, and what they did and didn’t
find! Mike can’t be with us, so he is going to give a short talk at the
January “Show and Tell” meeting.

Jim Jackson will give a short summary of where we are at with the Temple Newsam
fieldwork.

All welcome, there is a £2 charge for non-members.
