‘By Royal Command: Barnum in Europe‘ by Dr Steve Ward
In October 2019 Steve Ward talked to our Society about the history of the circus with particular reference to Pablo Fanque. In our research for the Wood Street project we had found his circus had performed there. Steve Ward has now published this new book which will no doubt be both informative and entertaining.
