WYAS Kirklees Closure |

The West Yorkshire Archive Service Kirklees office will be closing to the public on 1 July 2022 to carry out essential work to prepare the irreplaceable archive collections to move into a new home in early 2023. Any researchers seeking to consult the Kirklees collections in the near future are therefore encouraged to book an appointment with the service prior to this date. Additional appointments will be made available in the run up to the 1st July. The WYAS Kirklees office will reopen to the public within a new location in Spring 2023, full details of this reopening will be announced shortly. During this period of closure the service will be offering a restricted remote enquiry service limited to essential enquiries only in order to minimise disruption to the essential work to protect the archive collections.
