Bill Bryson, Huw Edwards and Michael Palin are amongst celebrities headlining the National Churches Trust’s online Christmas Carol Concert  7.30 pm on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

The concert will  raise money for the UK’s churches, many of which have been in the frontline of providing community support during the coronavirus pandemic.

The concert features the acclaimed choir of St Paul’s church in Knightsbridge and will include favourite carols which can be sung at home by anyone watching the online concert.

Other top names featuring include actors Joanna David, Richard Clifford and Hugh Dennis as well as singer, pianist and songwriter Joe Stilgoe.

Revd. Alan Gyle, vicar of St Paul’s church will provide a warm welcome and there will also be a seasonal message from Revd. Lucy Winkett, Rector of St James’s church Piccadilly, well known to listeners of  BBC Radio 4’s ‘Thought for the Day’.

You will be able to watch the concert live at 7.30 pm Wednesday 16 December 2020. This will be the only opportunity to see the concert, so please make sure you have booked a ticket.
